American Themed Fun at the Halton Chamber Summer BBQ!

A fantastic evening was had by all at the recent Halton Chamber Summer BBQ event, held in 'The Secret Garden' at The Heath Business and Technical Park in Runcorn on Saturday 4th July. Guests were treated to music and dancing from Elvis (Yes, he lives), and popular Country music star Katie Rhodes. There was plenty of food, stalls and attractions and sunshine to keep everyone busy until late in the evening when the crowd was wowed with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the sky.

Chamber staff, Tina, Nicola and Tracey (pictured above as Cheerleaders with the Chester Romans American Football Team) embraced the American Independence Day theme before leaving the BBQ in a chauffer-driven car to join the start of the Twilight Charity Walk at Spike Island. The girls, affectionately known as the “Chamber Pots”, raised £248 for Halton Haven Hospice.

The Summer BBQ is just one of many major events planned in the Chamber calendar this year, and with free Networking Events for Chamber members, and half price Membership fees during July, it really is the ideal time to join us here at Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise!
