A new set of interactive tools on the St John Ambulance website (www.sja.org.uk/training) will take you through the first aid risk assessment table to suggest the recommended number of first aiders for your workplace. There is also advice to help you choose the right course(s) to meet your health and safety legal requirements. Secondly, you can complete the ‘first aid needs review’ for an in-depth assessment of your current first aid cover. You will receive a comprehensive report and action plan after completing a short series of questions about your business. This will identify whether you currently have the appropriate level of first aid cover and equipment to comply with regulations. New first aid courses which are fully HSE compliant.
