Halton Chamber Events

Halton Chamber of Commerce has a wide range of major events planned for the coming year, providing an ideal way to grow your business and make new contacts from within the Halton area. You can take a look at some of the past events with our Halton Chamber events photo gallery. Both Members and Non-members are welcome to attend Chamber events (a charge may apply at certain events, please see individual events listings for details).

The 1stuesday breakfast event remains the No 1 Business Network in Halton, and has 10 events held during the year from February to December. A number of other major events are also planned for 2010, with Chamber members receiving a discount rate for their tickets.

Other regular networking events held by Halton Chamber of Commerce include the popular 'Halton Women in Business' - a Business Network event that provides an environment to inspire, motivate and advance local women entrepeneurs. Newly launched is 'Members Monday', these meetings provides an ideal opportunity to find out more about the Chamber and the services it provides - whilst giving attendees the chance to meet other local businesses in a friendly and informal setting.

If you are a Halton business and need a helping hand to bid for valuable public sector contracts, Halton Chamber's new series of organised Procurement events will simplify and de-mystify the tender process and help local businesses access all the valuable business opportunities that are out there.

And if you are interested in free support from a business mentor, the new Business Buddy programme is for you. We are holding various Business Buddy events in the coming months.

Procurement Review - 11th March 2010

Andrew Pladgeman would like to invite you to join him for breakfast on 11th March 2010, in the Foodini Restaurant at the Heath Business and Technical Park, Runcorn from 8:00am - 10:00am. Andrew will be giving an account of his work so far and his insight into how the Public Sector operates and how to do business in this sector, including tendering techniques. He will share with you the challenges that he feels still lie ahead. Real progress has been made and anybody who has an interest in selling to the Public Sector, will find this beneficial. With a cost of only £5 for Halton Chamber members, and £10 for non-members, including a full English breakfast, it has become an affordable opportunity to build important relationships with new business contacts.

Halton Women in Business - Tue 20th April 2010

Come along to the next Halton Women in Business Event, where like minded people share experiences, skills and new ideas. Each event will provide a fantastic opportunity for local women entrepeneurs to meet and network in a relaxed atmosphere - and build up those important new contacts. Events are only £5 for Halton Chamber members, and £10 to non-members, and this includes a light lunch and refreshments.
