Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise is the

only Chamber representing business in the

Widnes and Runcorn area.

The Chamber offers services in 5 main areas, these are:

Within the support offered by the Chamber to local companies, which export across

the World , the Chamber issues some 4000 export certificates annually on behalf of Halton Companies operating in a global market representing millions of pounds

sterling in trade balance.

Whilst this service and the international consultancy with Eurochambres have

become hallmark for Halton Chamber, there is much more we can offer under our 'enterprise' brand to local companies.

The Chamber has now added to its portfolio three enterprise centres at

Percival Lane, Runcorn and the Waterloo Centre and Moor Lane in Widnes,

to provide easy in - easy out rental terms, mainly to business start-ups.

The Chamber strongly believes that the survival of small business is crucial to the economic well being of Halton Borough.

To this end we have sponsored a wide range of business counselling sessions to assist Sme's to develop and grow.

The Business Start up project, a pilot funded by the Single Regeneration Budget,

is proving to be a huge success with high levels of demand for those wishing to

start their own business.

This success has led to the Chamber winning European Funding to provide a more holistic service for the whole area, taking on board cross cutting themes such as women into business, third aged companies and information technology.
