Halton Chamber Launches Recruitment Drive
Calling all businesses in Runcorn and Widnes. Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise has launched a special discounted recruitment drive to attract new members. The Recruitment Drive will be launched at the Chamber’s popular ‘First Tuesday’ breakfast network event on Tuesday 7th July. Half price membership will be offered to anyone joining, and a host of new services, including on-the-spot joining facilities, will be unveiled.
About 300 businesses are currently members of Halton Chamber, which has the lowest fees of any chamber in the North West. Halton Chamber’s Executive Vice Chairman Eric Hudson firmly believes the Chamber holds a vital key to developing a thriving local economy. He explained: “Economic experts are widely agreed that the only way out of the current recession is to support small and medium-sized businesses to succeed and expand. Halton Chamber exists to help companies prosper and although we have an expanding membership, it still only represents 20% of Halton’s business community. “With a larger membership, the Chamber could be even more active in supporting local companies to grow and create jobs. During Membership Month, I would like to invite all businesses to come and see what we can offer. I think they will be pleasantly surprised.” The monthly ‘First Tuesday’ breakfast networking events are open to all businessmen and women, not just Chamber members, for a small charge of £10 including breakfast. Chamber members are admitted free. Discounted half yearly membership of the Chamber is available from only £32.50. More details on the benefits of becoming a member of Halton Chamber can be found on the Membership section of this website, or email Membership Officer Diane McCloughlin at dianem@haltonchamber.com.
